CARLA’S HEART
This beautiful children’t book was truly the gift of a lifetime! I mean, who gets a children’t book written about them? I gotta pinch myself everytime I see a copy!
It shares the story of how I painted a heart every day of my cancer treatment, and posted it online, to keep love alive in my heart! And there might have been some pretty wonderful things that happened with all of that love pouring out every day!
Written by Tom Sweitzer and Illustrated by Penny Hauffe, it takes what could be a very scary thing for kids, and makes it a story of hope and love! I mean, how could a bunny who looks like that be scary?
It’s full of many of the hearts that I painted as well! You can see one right there on the cover!
My hope is that it can awaken the power of love in everyone, but especially those who are living through cancer treatment, and how love can help them heal, and for the doctors, who can always remember that we are people, and that a loving approach is always the most efficacious!
This wonderful book is available at A Place To Be in Leesburg, and hopefully one day soon, you can find it on Amazon, but not quite yet!
